D6 DIESEL STANDARDS AND CLASSIFICATION

CCAI and CII are the abbreviations responsible for the quality of residual fuel oil ignition. Marine fuel in international markets is still the fuel with the highest viscosity standard. The unit of viscosity is Centistoke. Popular fuels having a viscosity in accordance with ISO 8217 standards based on D6 are as follows: * IFO 380 - intermediate diesel fuel d6 with a maximum viscosity of 380 Centistokes * IFO 180 - intermediate diesel fuel d6 with a maximum viscosity of 180 Centistokes * LS 380 - low sulfur fuel oil (<1.5%) of intermediate d6 with a maximum viscosity of 380 Centistokes * LS 180 - low-sulfur (<1.5%) intermediate diesel fuel d6 with a maximum viscosity of 180 Centistokes * MDO - marine diesel oil. * MGO - marine gas oil.  

JET A-1 AVIATION FUEL

Jet fuel is kerosene, not a distillate, such as Gasoil / Diesel. At the refinery, it is separated from gasoline and paraffin. Jet A-1 is widely used as the main fuel worldwide. The difference of this fuel from the Russian analogue TS-1 is in thermo-oxidative stability, which, in turn, is related to the content of mercaptan sulfur in raw materials.
For Jet A-1, a lower content of sulfur is allowed. According to the new standards, the sulfur content should be equalized. The second important component is the corrosive activity of this fuel. Jet A-1 has a flashpoint above 38 ° C (100 ° F) at an auto-ignition temperature of 210 ° C (410 ° F). At the same time, the freezing temperature is at the level of Jet A-1 is -47 ° C (-53 ° F)  

LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS (LNG)

LNG is a colorless, odorless substance with a density of 0.41-0.5 kg / l. It is influenced by alkanes (it is 0.41kg / l),. Non-toxic. The boiling point is –158 ... –163 ° C. Modern LNG consists of 85-95% methane, and the remaining 5% consists of ethane, propane, butane, and nitrogen. The lower limit of heat of combustion is 50.116 kJ / kg, or 20 MJ / l. GASOLINE DTN EN 590
